I mike peery an artist, I
have created 9 trains in 40 years that are 3-dimensional, and rolls on a track coming with its own bridge and track including bells, lights, and weighs 1,000 pounds. Now i have gotten older and cant weld anymore so i have recreated these trains in a new design and medium. They are made of 45" x 26" Stainless steel sheeting, 16 gauge folded edges to create a picture frame. and laser cutting to specifications for the train with a brass sheet behind the 9 metal braces to secure the brass sheet in place. I did one with a black powder coated background which is very nice. This process is very expensive as stainless steel is very expensive, computer programming, fabrication, polishing, putting together with hardware to finalize the product, only took 35 years of experience to come up with this design medium you can also pick the backing plexy glass, copper, brass, or powder coatings. These are limited edition pieces, each one is signed and dated by Mike Peery.
